Water Damage and Volleyball

Today I drove down to Linton to help my aunt and uncle move things out of their house to a heated garage of a relative. It looked like there had been about 10" of water on the main floor. We had at least ten people working, so that made relatively short work of things. We loaded five or six pickups and one trailer in the morning, had dinner in a church basement, drove about 35 miles, and unloaded it all to the heated garage. Hopefully everything dries out nicely. I was back in Bismarck just after 3:00.

The kids had several activities today so Nancy stayed in Bismarck. Aleah had two volleyball matches right about dinner time, Samantha had a birthday party in Mandan this afternoon, and Donovan had a birthday party at the bowling alley in Mandan this evening. It has been reported that Gerrit was holed up in the basement all day!

Aleah had a previous volleyball match on Friday evening and I was able to see that one. Aleah's 4th grade team, the Pink Panthers, is in the foreground and she is serving. They lost this match and split the two matches today. This was part of a volleyball jamboree marking the end of this session of the Youth Volleyball Program of Bismarck Parks and Recreation.

As usual, Samantha asked me to take a picture of something. This is the Ginormica toy from the Monsters vs. Aliens Happy Meal. You are welcome, Samantha.
