Happy Valentine's Day!

Just wanted to jump on here a minute and wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. Like Nancy said, one thing we did today was have a late lunch at Texas Roadhouse. I ordered the 16 oz. ribeye medium rare, a house salad with ranch dressing, and steak fries. It was an excellent steak and it was the only meal I had today. Duane - the waitress did not dump a glass of ice water in my lap.

That is sort of an inside comment. The story is as follows. In July my older brothers, Duane and Harvey, along with Duane's son, Casey, came up and we spent a day at Garrison Dam and at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center by Washburn. At the end of the day we decided to eat out at Texas Roadhouse in Bismarck. When the waitress came with our waters, she slipped and dumped one in Duane's lap. Nice, eh? Duane had to eat his meal in wet pants, and then walk out of the restaurant that way. What a way to remember your first visit to a restaurant!

The reason Nancy said we had to get new land line phones (cordless) is that the batteries in those were also bad. These new ones have an intercom feature. That will be nice to make it easier to communicate back and forth between the basement and upstairs. I don't like yelling down the stairway.
