At supper tonight Nancy mentioned her mom had been down on the Mexican border today, but did not cross. Naturally, a Little River Band song popped into my head. I'm talking about "Down On The Border," of course. This song by the Australian band probably never even hit the U.S. charts so there is a good chance you've never heard it.
I like the Little River Band and have their Greatest Hits album on cassette somewhere in the storage room. They performed at Prairie Knights Casino this past November.
This 1983 live performance has an extended intro - the song as it was on the album doesn't start until 2:13. Enjoy!
We can't just stop with one, can we? Here are a couple more. First is "The Other Guy" followed by "Help Is On Its Way."
