Sledding

Today I took the kids sledding. This is the first time all of them have went sledding together. They are all finally old enough and we have enough snow! It has to be at least five years since we took Gerrit and Aleah sledding near Bruce's parent's farm. We all had a blast! I could not believe how well Samantha did. She was such a trooper. She'd go down by herself and then she'd pull the sled up the hill all by herself. I don't think the others would have done that at that age. It was really nice outside today.

Saturday we went out for Bruce's grandma's 87th birthday. We went to the Prime Steer. We didn't think it was that great but they did have a really good salad bar.

Sunday we went to church and hung out at home. The kids played outside everyday this weekend. We have to take advantage of the nice days. We may be headed for a cool down by the end of the week.

Tomorrow Gerrit has an appointment with the ear doctor. We're praying that the holes in his eardrums have closed completely or at least are getting smaller so he doesn't have to have surgery again. There's also the usual Tuesday activities-speech and piano and then there's a Cub Scout den meeting to end the day. Hopefully Samantha can get a little nap tomorrow. She's down to about two a week now and it seems like she takes them on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
