Before anyone thinks I've gone a bit off the deep end with the last post, I'll put up something that makes more sense.
I wrote a month or so ago about
purchasing a Season 3 Brady Bunch DVD set with some Christmas cash. The main reason was because the show featured a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda driven by Mike Brady, and that is my favorite classic muscle car.
It occurred to me later that maybe not everyone knows what the car looks like. Recently I was looking through some photos I took at a car show in Shakopee, MN and ran across a good example.

This is a 1971 'Cuda, my friends. This particular car at the show had a 440 engine. The 'Cuda is more the muscle car model of the Barracuda. The base 1971 Barracuda had either a 225 slant-6 or a 318 V8. The 'Cuda for that year had engine choices of a 340, 383, 440, 440 Six Pack, or 426 Hemi. My personal preference would be for a 440 Six Pack car. Owning one, of course, is pretty much a pipe dream.
I actually like the wheels that way - which is why I picked this picture. I guess I prefer the minimalist look on muscle cars.
Hey, while I'm at it, I might as well post some more pictures from the show! I know there are at least a few guys who visit, and maybe some ladies who enjoy classic and muscle cars.

A nice 1970 Dodge Challenger. Again, I like those wheels.

This one is either a '68 or '69 Dodge Coronet. The car had a spectacular paint job - it was like looking into a pool of water. Hard to capture in a picture, though.

Another one of my favorite vehicles from the 70's - a 1978 Dodge Lil Red Express Truck. This was the fastest production vehicle made in the United States that year. Cars were subject to strict emission controls but the pickups were not. This truck was only made for 1978 and 1979.

A 1960 Chrysler Imperial. Very nice car. I remember it had some interesting features but I don't remember what they were.

I really like the front end on this car. It has a regal look. The photo below shows the car's unique tail lights.

I also really liked this car when I was younger, but not as much anymore. It is a 1978 Dodge Aspen Super Coupe. Believe it or not, this is a rare car. It was produced just that one year and only about 500 were made.
